Can I use WD 40 on my cell phone?

I put my phone down in the fridge while I grabbed the mashed potatoes. Then I sorta left it there. It was in the fridge all day. It's the Casio Exilim phone, which is water proof and shock proof, and that's awesome, but I will always find a way :) Well, now it squeaks when I flip it open. Can I use WD-40, or any other suggestions. (other than not leaving my cell phone in the refrigerator)
