Shanahan and McNabb were unemployed for a reason. What are the owners and management of the Redskins thinking?
That answer is easy. The owner of the Redskins felt as if he could buy himself a championship by getting overrated players and coaches. Don't get me wrong, McNabb and Shannahan have had great careers prior, but since leaving their respective places they have not been the same. I think its a shame that you as the owner continue to shell out so much money with little in return. The Redskins have continued to go further south because of the owner's spending habits. He gets players that were great in previous places, but he gives them too much money to the point where they don't play with heart, but rather they take advantage of what they were given. Shame on Daniel Snyder, he's ruining his own franchise.
