Should I Buy These SubWoofers? SubWoofer Expert Needed!?

I found them on Craig's list. I emailed the seller and she said they work great and her reason for selling them is that her son moved. It is a California 600 Watt Amp and two Type E Alpine woofers in box for $250. I don't know what size they are. Are these good brands? Is 600 watts even anything? Aren't ohms important too? Are they overpriced? I know nothing about woofers so any help would be appreciated.
