Mechanics needed!!!! My rpms on my car are unusually high. what happened?

From the sounds of it, the emissions system has malfuntioned, causing the onboard computer system to go to default mode. High idle usually indicates problems with the EGR system. Sorry to say this, but unless you possess a computer diagnostic box and your cars particular software, you need a mechanic do determine the exact malfunction.
