Why did my ex contact my mom?

before you do anything you need to get to a place of acceptance. this relationship is gone and it will never be. i just curious as to why you did not marry her. you had your chance, and chose not to take it. she exercised her option and decided that marriage was something she wanted and she in fact made it happen. what exactly are you hurt about? you never thought she would move on and marry? there is an old saying; "you never miss the water till the well runs dry". time for you to accept where you are and move on, and this time when you meet a woman and she tells you that she wants to marry and you know you love her then you need to marry her. all the best to you.
