Why do women get so easily attracted to men and things they see in the media?

What air did you pull this conclusion from? Speaking from personal experience and disregarding all imagination, I know for a fact that I am particular about the men that I am attracted to. Unfortunately, the men I am attracted to are rarely represented in mainstream media and when they are, they are portrayed negatively.
