Is it normal to have a baby shower with your 2nd?

well first of all congrats even though you still have not heard the baby's heart beat i'm sure everything will be fine,of course you could have another baby shower,for me it's ridiculous those who think a baby shower should only be for your fist baby,i don't think this way a baby shower is not just about others giving you gifts it's about a time to celebrate with all those who you care about you the soon to be birth of your baby,you celebrate a new life,at least that is what i think about a baby shower i don't just do it for the gifts,now about your mother in law i feel so sorry for you to have one of those nosy ones,that is why i have always said i am really lucky to have a mother in law like mines she is not one of those
